Join us at Lake Crabtree as NC State Sailing hosts the 2017 SailPack Women’s Intercollegiate Regatta presented by the Greater Raleigh Sports Alliance on Saturday, September 16th.
The 3rd annual SailPack Women’s Intercollegiate Regatta will feature more than 50 college sailors and coaches competing from ten Mid-Atlantic and South-Atlantic Conference teams including last year’s national champion College of Charleston, as well as traditional rivals Clemson, UNC-Wilmington, Georgia Tech and others. Last year’s regatta was recognized as the 2016 NC State Club Sports Event of the Year, and with even more teams signed up than before, this will be the largest women’s intercollegiate regatta ever held in North Carolina.

The Opening Ceremony will be held at 9:30 AM at the Lake Crabtree County waterfront featuring family-friendly festivities, giveaways, FOOD, refreshments (including coffee!) and maybe even a visit from everyone’s favorite Ms. Wuf! Racing will begin shortly after the opening ceremony.

In addition to great spectating and SailPack giveaways; NC State sailors will be on shore hosting sailing-related activities including a knot tying station! Come out, enjoy the beautiful outdoors, have food and refreshments while watching and learn about competitive college sailing and the student and volunteer-run sailing program at NC State.
