This is a perfect event for families, friends, and the community to come out and see high-caliber college sailing right here in Raleigh.

This marks the fifth year that the Greater Raleigh Sports Alliance has supported our event. This group of talented marketing and event professionals help bring sporting events to the Triangle and promote our community as a world-class sporting destination. They're amazing so check them out!

We are also excited to partner with Sailpack alumni-owned Kenna's K-9 Training to present a Pack-walk and training session during the regatta. With great trails within view of the racing action, this is a great way to bring your pup out to the regatta and enjoy some great college sailing, too.

This year's event will also be a CLEAN REGATTA featuring a host of sustainable and environmentally-conscious practices. Together with national sustainability leaders, Sailors for the Sea, NC State leads college sailing in sustainable events and maintains a strong commitment to protecting our environment. The event has also been certified as a Steward-level event by NC State University Sustainability.

We'll have copies of this year's special poster for giveaways, too! Here's a preview:

Designed by SailPack senior Weatherley Tripp, this year's poster captures our program's commitment to inclusive competition.

In addition to great spectating and SailPack giveaways; NC State sailors will be on shore hosting sailing-related activities including a knot tying station! Come out, enjoy the beautiful outdoors while watching and learn about competitive college sailing and the student and volunteer-run sailing program at NC State.

On Sunday following the regatta, NC State will host a college women's sailing skills clinic. This is the third year of the clinic and in the previous edition in Fall 2018 more than 40 female sailors participated. Coached by a professional and experienced college sailing coach, the event features on and off the water training and instruction.
