Wolfpack Travel to South Florida for Two Events

ST. PETERSBURG, F.L., FEBRUARY 16-17, 2019 – Wolfpack sailors return to the road this weekend for two events in St. Petersburg, Florida. The warmer climes beckon the SailPack from early season training in Raleigh with the South Atlantic Intercollegiate Sailing Association (SAISA) Co-Ed Open Regatta hosted by Eckerd College, and the USF Women's Regatta hosted by nearby University of South Florida.

Each spring, NC State sailors travel to these two events and have often found success. In 2017, NC State finished 12th of 17th teams, and improved from there over the course of the season finishing the division 3rd overall. Across town at USF, the women of the SailPack found a packed field of competitors including teams from the Pacific conference, Northwest conference, New England conference, and a few SAISA teams, as well. With the spring 2019 season entering it's first week of conference competition, this spring's SAISA Open is expected to be competitive and packed. Follow all NC State sailors across three different regattas this weekend at scores.collegesailing.org, or online via Twitter at www.twitter.com/ncstatesailing
